1. At Patient page, update Guarantor, Change Policy Type to (Workers' Compensation Health Claim) to ensure it is flagged for electronic submission to both the Payer and NY WCB.
2. Select 20 Employee at Relate to Patient for WC claim
3. Policy Holder is the Employer of the patient for WC claim

Why does the CMS-1500 form Box 1a show 999999999?

For Workers’ Compensation claims, Box 1a must be filled with the patient’s SSN. When unavailable, the placeholder '999999999' is used.
